Anastasia Encarnacion
Voice Teacher
Ms. Encarnacion has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance cum laude. She studied with renowned music historian, voice teacher and classical vocalist Anna Carol Dudley. Anastasia has performed Classical, Broadway and Jazz throughout the Bay Area for 30 years, and maintained a private voice studio for teens and adults in Milpitas, California.
Her offerings are:
Class voice a group voice class consisting of both female and male voices meant for the beginning solo vocalist, or beginning through experienced choral and band members who would like to have formal voice training and basic music reading skills. You will be taught basic music reading along with beginning vocal technique: proper breath support, proper diction, healthy vocal production, ear training exercises, vocal exercises, and the proper way to approach learning a piece of music to prevent vocal strain. All in an atmosphere of camaraderie and group support! There will be performance opportunities at upcomin SMAS concerts, but they are not mandatory for this class.
Class Voice: Tuesdays 7:00pm-8:00pm, September 28-November 16.
$120.00 for 8 sessions.
Minimum age for this class is 12.
Class Voice for Retirees : Tuesdays: 11am -12noon: September 28-November 16.

Richard Riley
Voice Teacher
Richard began his musical studies at the Settlement School of Music, a branch of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. He is a member of the San Francisco Opera Chorus and has sung with the Berkeley Opera Company, the San Francisco Russian Opera Company and the Oakland Lyric Opera Company. Richard teaches students of all ages and skill levels how to find their inner voice and develop it. He is available for private voice instruction on Mondays.
